The Role of a Priestess

"In order to serve the role of priestess, a woman must first spend time deepening her own spiritual practice. She must know how to find the doorway herself before she can help others see it and she must be comfortable standing in the mystery before she takes on the responsibility of leading anyone else there...this is the path of service, you have to let go of self-importance. A priestess's job is to use her abilities to help others in her community to have their own mystical or deeply spiritual experience." By Deidre Pulgram Arthen
