Open to Love, Darkness Transformed
Today is Valentine's Day. A day of Love. What blocks us from Love? Fear, pain, power...I hope others feel like I do. I feel it is my duty as a conscious human to transform my darkness and take away it's shackles from my heart. Love brings us closer to Unity, unity is our true state. We are One.
I am going to share something very personal. The pain from breaking my relations with my entire family at times is unbearable. A darkness has touched me and poisoned me, the darkness of abuse and abandonment. This darkness I have transformed and continue to transform as it arises, learning along the way. These are the last words said/written to my parents. We have not spoken since, it has been over 3 years. I feel no child should have to beg for their parents to see them. They named me Joy in irony...

Some of my writing to leave you with...
"Pain is poison, we are the antidote. Pain enters us, moves through us, consumes us and sometimes takes over us. We let the pain poison us and pass the poison to others. We are the antidote, the antidote is to transform the pain. Transform it to acts and thoughts of kindness, touch the pain with compassion, love and understanding. You will find solace and peace through transformation.""
I took my own advice in my healing process...transforming, changing, growing and healing.
Leaving you with a excerpt from Anodea Judith's The Global Heart Awakens: Humanity's Rite of Passage from the Love of Power to the Power of Love (I had the pleasure of spending time with her last weekend, she is a beautiful soul)
No one escapes being hurt somewhere along the way. Wounding and betrayal, abuse or trauma, disappointment and loss--these painful demons come to us all and leave their marks upon the heart. In a kind of war within ourselves, which, like all wars, creates suffering and numbing and wastes precious energy. War against nature, war within our own nature, war against others, and war against nations--it's all been around for so long that we have accepted it as a fact of life. When forces that have been locked in struggle and aggression find their way into peace, there is a vibration of harmony that can be felt by all. So many times in my past therapy practice, when patients integrated warring parts of themselves or resolved a deep conflict with another, there were cries of relief and tears of joy--the sound of a soul coming back home to its natural state of wholeness. This results in deep, inner healing. When old battles are resolved and wounds are healed, the heart has more room to truly open and love.
Namaste, Infinite Love to All!!!
